How long is a visit? Most people finish their projects within 2 hours. On evenings, weekends and holidays we ask that you limit your visit to 2-2.5 hours so that we can accommodate all the painters who might want to visit us that day. If you don't finish in one visit you can return at a later date to complete your piece, at no additional charge.
-
When can I pick up my finished item? After the painting process, your item needs to be glazed and then fired in a kiln (pottery oven). Turnaround time is usually 7-10 days. We'll notify you by email when your piece is ready for pickup.

I'm not an artist... Will I enjoy this?Painters of ALL AGES and levels of experience with art can enjoy an afternoon of painting with us. ZERO skills required! Our lovely staff can guide you through different painting techniques to help you achieve your vision. Some folks find it helpful to browse Pinterest or Instagram for inspiration. We also have stencils, idea books and many different techniques that require no special training to execute. We also have a lot of items that are detailed, so that you just need to pick your favourite colours and paint them in!
-
Are the items functional? They are! After firing, our ceramics are fully non-toxic and food safe. You can put them in the dishwasher and even reheat food in them in the microwave. Please note that they are softer than commercial ceramics so handwashing will ensure they will last forever, and it's not recommended to cook items in the microwave as they will heat up
-
Do you serve Food & Drinks? We have a drink fridge with a small assortment of non-alcoholic refreshments for sale on site. You are also welcome to bring in coffee or drinks from another establishment. Alcoholic drinks are not permitted. Food and ceramics do not mix, as oils from your hands can cause issues with the paint not adhering to the ceramic. Please plan your meals around your visit to us.

Do I need a Reservation? It's strongly recommended! Although we did just move to a larger location in October 2023, we still find ourselves fully booked during popular times such as evenings, weekends, PD days and holidays. It's best to book ahead to avoid disappointment, though we are happy to accept walk ins when available. Please visit our reservation page here to book your spot.
